James Cho brings more than two decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, pastoral ministry, organizational governance, grant development, financial services, and international business. With a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies, a Master of Divinity, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering, he combines strategic insight with a practical understanding of the challenges facing small businesses, nonprofits, and churches. James has written or co-written more than ten grant proposals that helped secure over $10 million in funding, led multicultural organizations and nonprofit boards, and developed ventures in the United States and Kenya. As Co-Founder and Director of Zawadi Wellspring, he is committed to helping clients strengthen their financial systems, improve governance, steward resources with integrity, and build sustainable organizations that advance their mission and serve their communities.

Dr. Lucy N. Mugenyi has built her career at the intersection of finance, organizational development, and leadership education across Africa. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration–Finance and an MBA in Finance, supported by more than 15 years of university teaching and professional training experience. Lucy has overseen donor reporting for approximately $200 million in projects funded by USAID, DFID, UNOCHA, UNHCR, and other international partners. She has also strengthened organizations across seven African countries and trained leadership teams in more than ten countries. As Co-Founder and Director of Zawadi Wellspring, Lucy equips small businesses, nonprofits, and churches with sound accounting practices, stronger governance, effective grant management, and the operational capacity needed to grow sustainably and expand their community impact.
